Airport transfer (one-way)
Collection OR Drop-off at London Heathrow or London Gatwick airports.
Bookings of this service must be made for Standard Transfer days and times.
Our standard transfer dates and times are:
Arrivals: Sundays between 10am and 3pm.
Departures: Saturdays between 12pm and 5pm.
You may only book a transfer in this section if your booked flight will be arriving / departing from London Heathrow or London Gatwick airports within the day and time windows above.
If for any reason you are unable to book a flight in the above windows, please contact us to discuss options for us to arrange a special transfer at additional cost. However, bookings within the times above is highly recommended, both to save on your costs and to ensure that players arrive at similar times to the rest of the players on camp and get the full orientation experience with their camp-mates.
How it works:
Arrivals:
An EVO representative will arrive at your designated airport in time for the arrival of your flight and meet your player at the international exit in the Arrivals Hall. They wear their easy-to-recognise bright blue EVO tops and are holding an EVO Sports Camps sign.
Departures:
On departure, we organise an accompanied transfer to arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight. EVO staff help students to check in and they accompany them to the Security Point, making sure they go through to the Departures Hall. Please note that our staff are not allowed to accompany players into security or to the departure gate. However, our staff will not leave the airport until the flight has taken off.
Unaccompanied children travelling:
For players travelling without an adult on either of the outward and return trips, please ensure you check with your airline for any minimum age restrictions before booking. Some airlines require students to be at least 16 years old to fly alone. A number of major airlines offer an Unaccompanied Minor Service which must be booked directly with the airline and paid for in advance. In this case, the airline accepts responsibility for the child by looking after him/her at the airport and on the flight and personally handing him/her over to EVO staff on arrival in the UK.
Please ensure that you have checked with your airline for restrictions / requirements for any players travelling unaccompanied before you book them onto their flight, for both the outbound and return journeys. The requirements may vary from airline to airline and country to country.
